Oregon Heritage Farms
History
Oregon Heritage Farms is a family owned and operated farming business comprised of separate farms located throughout Washington County. Oregon Heritage Farms has been in existance for over 24 years belonging to the same family for all those years. Oregon Heritage Farms have been a major supplier of farm fresh produce for most of those years, selling their product through everything from roadside stands to many of the local farmer's markets and currently shipping around the globe.
Products
Oregon Heritage Farms raise many kinds of fruits and vegetables throughout the normal growning season. We are most proud of the fact, our farms also raise and supply 10 to 12 varities of apples to the local market. We grow everything from the normal types of apples, such as Delicious to the more interesting and exotic apples such as the hottest new variety - Honey Crisp. Growing seasons are different for all types of apples and our farms continuously harvest the varieties at the peak of their seasons.
Country Store
Oregon Heritage Farms operates a country store for all produce from August to the middle of November. Not only do we offer our produce but also produce from other local farmers in a cooperative action.
From early August to September, we also offer a limited amount of crafts, created by local artisians. The displays are limited due to size contraints because of the fresh produce. After September, when the amount of fresh produce available subsides, we invite more and more local craft artist to display and offer for sale, all types of hand-made products including all sorts of dried flowers, metal work, and hand painted items.
